The End of Borley Rectory

Borley Rectory was situated on the Essex/Suffolk border and was reputedly the most haunted house in England. See Here (From Ghosts to Gay Romance and How I Arrived There)
It was investigated many times in it’s history most famously by Harry Price, a member of the Ghost Club. Later, Price was accused of faking much of the phenomena, and maybe he did, for reasons best known to himself. However, the fact remains that Borley was the subject of huge speculation and controversy and continues to be so to this day.
Borley Rectory was destroyed by a mysterious fire in 1939.
